The Executive Governor of Zamfara state and Chairman Nigeria Governors' Forum, Hon Abdullaziz Yari Abubakar today Friday 11th August, 2017, is saddened by the news of the passing on of Imam Maluma Buhari Kaura Namoda, the Chief Imam of Sabon Garin Kaura Namoda Central Mosque who died at the early hours of today Friday, August 11th August, 2017 at the Federal Medical Centre Gusau, following a protracted illness.
Governor Yari described Liman Maluma as core Islamic jurisprudent who spent all his life serving Allah( SWT).
He said the chief Imam devoted his life time conducting researches, preaching and teaching of Islamic values that inculcate proper knowledge of Islam among Muslims both within and outside Kaura Namoda kingdom.
The NGF Chairman said the death of the Imam is a loss, not only to his family and Kaura Namoda kingdom in particular, but also to Zamfara state and Nigeria at large.
He prayed Allah SWT to forgive his shortcomings, reward him with Jannatul Firdausi and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
