The Executive Governor of Zamfara state and Chairman Nigeria Governors' Forum Hon (Dr.) Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara), on Friday 3rd November 2017 inspected for the third time, the ongoing reconstruction work of Gusau Bypass road to ascertain compliance to quality and contract specifications by the company handling the project.
The visit which took the governor and his entourage, a stretch tracking of a five kilometer distance, has given him the courage and confidence that the work would be completed on schedule with high quality.
Governor Yari therefore urged the construction company to maintain the tempo and keep to promises in completing the project on schedule.
The NGF chairman earlier on visited the construction site of the new Gusau Emir's Place to inspect the project.
The New place which is one of the latest design of modern places, consists of reception/dinning, Emir's wing and guest houses, boys quarters, girls arena, Sarkin Gida and Sarkin Dogarai quarters, school and mosque, parameter fencing and two sides gates.
The building project which costs the state government the sum of Five Hundred and Four Million, Fifty Seven Thousands, Forty Four Naira and Thirty One Kobo (505,057,044,31) is awarded to Mallaha Construction Company.
Gov Yari who addressed the press at the end of the inspection visits expressed satisfaction on the quality of the two projects visited.
He therefore called on the beneficiaries to make proper utilization of the projects after completion.
Earlier in the day, the Governor received briefings from all the security chiefs in the state on security situation.
