The substantive Chairman Zamfara state PDP New Media , Ubaidullah Yahaya Kaura, has led a delegation of the forum Members on a condolence visit to the Garkuwa Yanware Family and friends over the demise of the late Abdulhadi Saidu, who died on Friday.
The Chairman also visited the Amb. Bashir Yuguda, Hon. Bello Matwallen Maradun, and the PDP Chairman of Zamfara state, Sen. Hassan Nasiha, where he offered condolences to the people and PDP peoples of the state.
According to a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Amb. Ahamad Danwudil, Ubaidullah, paid a glowing tribute to the late Young statesman, describing him as a Veteran Youths and true Freedom Fighter who inspired many, not only by his stunning oratory, but also in his conduct.
“I am here, on behalf of the PDP new media Forum Members of the Zamfara state, to pay our condolences on the death of our Elder Colleague, a great Youth leader, the Garkuwa Yanware, Hon . Abdulhadi Yanware . He was a man that our people looked up to, in Zamfara, in Northern Nigeria and Nigeria as a whole.
He was more than a Youths leader, because he inspired so many people, including me. Anybody who heard him speak must attest to this, not just because of his diction or wide knowledge on issues, but that he was someone who spoke from his heart and not from his head,” Ubaidullah said.
The Chairman, who recalled his personal relationship with the late Hadi, described him as a Youths leader who preached unity, justice and fairness all his life.
“I remember last Assignment I engaged with him in the committee for restructuring PDP new Media Forum. I met with him on several occasions and what always struck me was the fact that he was always realistic in his approach and presentations and in his comments.
This was a man who believed that leadership cannot exist without unity and fairness. We spoke about so many issues, and whether we were making progress or not, he was committed.
Speaking further, Ubaidullah said the Party has lost a great Youths leader who worked for the oneness and unity of the Party in diversity.
Dogara however assured that the good legacies of the late Youth diplomat will continue to be replicated as a way of keeping his memories alive.
“There’s really nothing we can do, because we can’t bring him back, he’s gone to be with God, but one thing we can do in order to ensure that his memory lives on is for us to determine that those good qualities, those things that he represented while he was alive, that we’ll continue to replicate them, that’s the best way to keep his memory alive. It’s unfortunate that it will be very difficult for us to find someone, especially in this part of the State,
who can fill his shoes but by the grace of God, we’ll raise some from among us who will take his place. And we pray for Allah to grant his gentle soul in Aljannah Fridausi. May be his replace in the family he left.
Ameen.
If I Were Governor El-rufa'i - Salis Moriki
I am so much in support of restructuring of our educational sector. The level at which our educational sector deteriorated is beyond imagination and needs a very powerful, fearless and serious minded person that will totally overhaul it for the interest of the people and nation at large. That is why I doff my hat for Kaduna state governor Mallam Nasir El-rufa'i for having the guts and audacity to do what others found difficult. Where I'm not with him, is the method he applies to remedy the negative situation. But it has to be done if he's to revive the sector. In most of the states and local governments in Nigeria, primary school teaching has become a politically compensating ground for politicians' wives and relatives whenever election is won. It resulted in having half literates as teachers in most of the primary schools. This, and other factors, contributed a lot in deterioration of education in Nigeria. That's why we are educationally half-baked, just like...
