With shock and total submission to the will of Allah, I received sad news of the demised of Abdulhadi Saidu Garkuwan yanware, who was shot dead by an unknown gunmen yesterday night along Magazu Tsafe road on his way to Gusau from Kaduna state.
In his short spells in zamfara state politics, Abdulhadi established himself as the voice of the voiceless, the driver of hope and aspirations of the youth and oppressed.
Garkuwar yanware proved himself as courageous and fearless outspoken young politicians that defied the long tradition of conspiracy of silence by opposition in zamfara state politics.
Abdulhadi's death created a vacuum very hard to fill, because of his zeal for the betterment of his people, he assumed and operated as unofficial spokesman of his party.
Abdulhadi made his debut in mainstream politics by contesting the chairmanship of Tsafe local govt in 2012 and subsequently, contested house of Assembly seat in 2015 general election in his tsafe east constituency.
He is survived by his wife and a child. May Allah grant him an eternal rest, and make jannatul Firdausi to be his final home.

"Dear Mr President, I am one of your unapologetic admirers, I went all ways to advocate for your emergence . I lost friendships and resources promoting your candidature. In fact, I named my son after you; I call him Muhammadu Buhari - all these I did because I wholeheartedly believe in you. Everyday I pray for your success, I pray for your good health - I spend energy defending your actions even in the face of obvious indefensible template. I am dangerously linked to your person and ideology that I can take bullet for you. However, recently manifestations from your desk has left me somewhat helpless and deflated. You are demystifying the phenomenal brand called Muhammadu Buhari. Laxity and overt complacency is taking over your fascinating antecedents. You are withering away your goodwill so fast. Your too democratic stance is not helping the wheel of governance. You are leaving too a wide room for indolence. Your lieutenants are abusing responsibilities while you watch ...
