Bauchi State Social Investment Programmes
In line with its determination to consolidate the gains recorded by the State on implementation of SIPs, the His Excellency Dr. Mohammed A. Abubakar administration is pleased to announce that Physical Verification Exercise of N-Power build (Non graduates) sub-component will hold between Monday Nov 13 - Friday Nov 17, 2017 at the respective National Orientation Agency’s LGA offices across the State.
The officials of National Orientation Agency (NOA) will work with N-Power LGA desk officers to conduct the exercise and transmit report to state office further action.
The National Social Investment Programmes Office (NSIO) has selected a total of 1,268 youths in Bauchi, Tafawa Balewa, Ganjuwa and Jamaare LGAs as first phase of non graduates who registered in 2016.
Applicants who passed the verification exercise will be deployed to vocational centers located in their LGAs for intensive skills acquisition training.
Applicants are advised to check their names at the notice boards of affected four LGAs later today or State Social Investment Programmes Office.
The physical verification exercise borders on age, gender, address and phone number.

Zamfara Governor Agrees To Refund $2.5m Paris Club Loot
The Zamfara state governor accused of building a hotel with $3 million of the controversial London-Paris Club loan refund has sneaked into Aso Rock Presidential Villa in search of soft-landing. It was gathered yesterday that the embattled governor had in the last 48 hours been roaming the corridors of the Presidential Villa in desperate search for help. He was said to have offered to refund the balance of $2.5 million quietly to the EFCC without being further investigated, given that one of the proxies used to launder the funds had already surrendered $500,000 to the anti-graft agency. It was learnt that the governor, who disguised to enter the Villa, avoided the prying eyes of journalists at the seat of power.
