Contract worth billion naira has been awarded by Zamfara State government.
Speaking at the presentation of contact notification letters ceremony to about two hundred and twenty indigenous contractors, which held at council chamber government house Gusau. The state Executive Governor Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar Shatiman Zamfara express dissatisfaction on the way and manner some of the beneficiaries of first disbursement sell out the contract instead of executing the project. According to Governor Yari, the second phase of construction and renovation of primary schools in the state is a complement to first disbursement of over three point six billion naira.
Governor Abdulaziz charge all the beneficiaries to ensure front execution of the project with all sincerity.
Speaking at the occasion state APC Chairman Alhaji lawali Abubakar makaman Kaura said the party is responsible for the identification of all beneficiaries according to him they drived them from across the fourteen local governments areas of the state.
The APC Chairman on behalf of the party structure at all levels, thank the Governor for the noble gesture. Lawali Abubakar assured the state government that any body found wanting especially in that habit of selling their notification letters will deal with accordingly.
Earlier speaking at the occasion the Executive Chairman Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board Honourable Murtala Adamu Matawallen Jangebe called on the beneficiaries to ensure front opening an account with any financial institution in the state as cooperate bodies.
According to the Chairman, he want all beneficiaries to put at the back of their minds that, the contract will create employment to the teaming youths across the state. Mallam Murtala Adamu Matawallen jangebe hope that people with small scale businesses will be patronize at the immediate communities of the contract locations by the contractors.
In attendance at the occasion were the State Executive Deputy Governor Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad Liman, Secretary to the States government Professor Abdullahi Muhammad Shinkafi, Members of the state house of assembly, Commissioners, politicians and many other people.

Begging has no basis in Islam, says Sultan
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, said on Saturday that begging has no basis in Islam and challenged those engaging in the act to find legitimate means of earning a living. Nigerian Pilot reports that Abubakar made the remark in Sokoto at the graduation of 2000 women trained in various skills by the Wife of Sokoto State Governor Hajiya Mairo Tambuwal. The training was conducted in collaboration with Sokoto State Zakkat and Endowment Commission to empower the women drawn from the 86 districts of the state.
