FTS recruitment test was conducted throughout the state yesterday 23rd Dec, 2017. The test which was supervised by the officials of Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board has forty four centers across the area development councils in the state. The Public Relations unit of the board, adequately make necessary arrangements with all the information Officers of the fourteen local government areas and some correspondence of both Zamfara and FM radio for effective information coverage.
At Gusau East ADC sani maitaya and umma hanni were at the venue and they have interacted with the education secretary, According to him they have the highest number of the applicants as a result of which government secondary school Danturai was full to capacity and additional venue of Danturai, township and nizzamiyya primary schools was also provided for the applicants to be accommodated.
On our arrival at Tsafe already Babangida Uba Tsafe was there at maza waje model primary school according to him the Education Secretary appreciated the support offered by the concerned citizens and stakeholders in the area for the success of the programme.
Kaura Namoda local government the Education Secretary carried along the information Officers of the area to all the three ADCs and the process was also very successful.
Maru local governments also when contacted the Education Secretary Alhaji maikano said they have started the examination at right time at all the three centers of the local government which includes Maru, Dansadau and dankurmi area development councils.
ES maikano express happiness with the level of loyalty and discipline exhibited by the applicants across all the centers.
Another area of our coverage was Zurmi local government where Sani Abdullahi Danisah and the information Officer of the area Mallam Nasiru umar zurmi reported to the PR unit desk that, the Education Secretary is up and doing at the early hours of the examination time, to ensure the successful conduct of the test in both Zurmi, Dauran and moriki ADCs.
The Education Secretary also explain that, the arrangement made by ZSUBEB in respect of the State wide FTS recruitment test is commendable. According to him the provision of adequate questions papers and manpower to supervise the process add more colour to the exercise.
All the four Education zones in the state, the board under the leadership of Mallam Murtala Adamu Matawallen jangebe asingned a team of officials led by Directors to supervise the whole process in the state.
Director social mobilization Mallam Yusuf Abubakar Mafara was in Gummi and other local governments areas of the Western zone, express appreciations on the emphasis attached to the exercise by the applicants and all stakeholders concerned purposely with a view of ensuring the success of the examinations.
