Gov Yari earmarked another N35m for fight against CSM disease.

Zamfara state governor Hon Dr Abdul'aziz Yari Abubakar has earmarked and released another N35m  to special committee set up to repurchase, distribute and monitor the distribution of drugs as part of his effort to eradicate the current CSM bedevilling the citizens of the state.

This is contained in a statement issued to newsmen in this evening by the committee chairman and also deputy speaker zamfara state house of assembly Hon Abubakar Muhammad Gummi at state medical store located at samaru area in gusau.

According to committee chairman, the committee has so far procured 150  cartons of drugs worth of N18.6m and other assorted drugs bringing down the total of N22m so far spent by the committee and the drugs were made available by a pharmaceutical company situated in Lagos but delivered at sokoto.

He further explained that the drugs would be distributed according to the number of cases of each local government.

He has also assured of judicious distribution of the drugs thereby complementing the effort of the state government to end the disease.
