Oil money is the target of every president in Nigeria. Forget what they tell you about anti-corruption and all the noise they make about fighting corruption, our leaders cannot resist the oil money.
It was former British Prime Minister that aptly describe our leaders and he simply said it that they are 'fantastically corrupt.' That's the simple description of Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari.
Minister of State for Petroleum, Kachikwu has exposed so much fantastically in his letter to the president.
The fact is that President Buhari didn't put Kachikwu there to be in charge but to fulfill the quota that is constitutionally allowed as Zents Kunle Sowunmi rightly wrote earlier today.
The GMD Baru was out there to do exactly what he is doing and I don't want to believe PMB is not aware of what has been going on. He is. Which companies got all these $27 billion contracts without due process?
If you just look into them you will find out the reason why they sideline due process is because of corruption and it is deliberate. The companies that benefited like the grass cutting job may belong to these cabals.
You can say whatever but this NNPC scandal wouldn't just go away.
It has exposed the rot in this administration as opposed to their noise about fighting corruption and following due process and don't tell me President Buhari is not in on this. Don't play with my intelligence.
