IS ZAMFARA STATE SALARY STRUCTURE DEPRESSED?
The answer to this question depend on the person answering the question. To the few super-rich civil servants and close associate to the government in power the answer will be emphatic no.
This because with their extra earnings they can satisfy their demand for good and services at any quantity and quality.
To the civil servant who is forced to look for credit/loans to buy feed stuff monthly, who today find it difficult to purchase a bag of rice that is equivalent to his salary minimum wage(N18,000/N18,000).
A worker who has to trek for kilometres to his working place due to his in ability to maintain the car he purchased some years back. The answer will be emphatic yes.
Over six years now the income purchasing power of workers have been dwindling , while opportune politicians have became super-rich.
The situation now workers salary cannot afford to satisfy their monthly demand domestically especially in a large house hold. Majority of workers including senior civil servants are down in valley of poverty.
The structure of what is called salary in zamfara state remain static over six years no annual leave grants, no annual increments and No implementation of promotions.
The non increment of salary have made the salary to fall in aggregate demand for the period of low economic activity , which has persisted.
Other state. A graduate on grade level 08 received the sum of N80,000 as against zanfara with 30000 or less. One cannot imagine a staff on grade level 12 received the sum of N45,000 as against N110,000 as recommend in the minimum wage scale.
A senior Staff at the rank of a Director on grade level 15-16 goes home with N110,000-N120,000 respectively with two domestic servants allowances as against N400,000-460,000 as recommend by the new minimum wage structure nation wide.

Pls onbehalf of my l G tsafe tagabas I want to use this oppotunity to remind the goverment of zamfara state the w'llnt butt. 4 any politicins becouse we ddnt see de adventige of it in any way, we are currenty suffering for so many things, which include poor of heath facilities,insecurities,poor educational facilities, and so on but the major problems is poor transportation no single road that will leak u from Hayin Alhaji,yanware,hegi,and others villages to inside tsafe LG we have been expriecs this problem for so many yrs impact now we dnt have a single things that a zamfara state govermen did for us I'm.
