Withdraw Your Children From Private Schools, Zamfara NLC Orders Workers

The directive, according to the document dated September 19, 2017, said the directive takes effect from Wednesday, 20 September.

A circular issued by the state’s Secretary of NLC, Bitrus Gyang, said children and wards of public servants account for over 80 per cent of pupils and students in private schools in the state.

“The refusal of some private schools to join the strike is an indication that they care not about the plight if their customers, not sympathetic to its state-wide industrial action until the strike is over. therefore Labour Unions are not taking it lightly,” the directive stated.

We could not immediately confirm whether proprietors of privates schools in the state are complying with the directive.
