DISCLAIMER
The attention of Federal University Dutse has been drawn to an ongoing online advertisement by an unnamed body urging successful candidates for the 2017/2018 admission to pay the sum of Five Thousand Naira, (N5000) for the collection of admission letter.
The fake organization, which used the University’s official website, also gave out various fees payable by students, (both new and returning) as registration as well as hostel accommodation.
The University would want to inform the public that no decision has been taken by the Management on registration fees for both new and returning students and that of accommodation.
As soon as any decision is taken, the public will be notified through the appropriate channel. The University wishes to notify the general public that it has not authorized anybody or any organization to collect any money on its behalf.
The University would like to inform candidates and their parents that Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, (UTME) is still ongoing and it will come to an end by 12 mid-night September 22nd, 2017, for those who chose the University as first choice, while for Direct Entry, (DE) and those UTME candidates that have changed their University to FUD has up to Friday .29th September, 2017 to do the online screening.
