It is a touching lesson and wake up call for Nigerians to say no to tribalism - you Have to read it, it'll change how you think.
According to Julie, "Ali was my Gateman for some years and being the only son of his polygamous father, he had to hearken to the call of his father who was getting old and too weak to work on his farm alone.
Ali was away for many years to the Northern part of Nigeria but kept in touch through phone calls before Boko Haram invaded their territory. Ali narrowly escaped to the forest with his children where they slept without food or water.
Luckily before the phone network was disconnected, he called my number to narrate his situation and immediately we started calling on friends for way out.
To God be the glory he got to us with his family in Lagos and settled with us. I am indeed grateful to God because they are happy and alive today.
The children are in school and growing so fast. Ali is good ,he is loyal and trustworthy. He calls me mummy and I accepted them as mine.
May God continue to empower us to touch more lives because I feel more fulfilled being able to restore hope in people and we can do more together in many ways, touching lives positively."
