ZSUBEB To Partner Indigenous Students Association

Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board, to extend hands of partnerships with the indigenous students association's across the tertiary institutions of learning in the country.

This was made known by the Executive Chairman of the Board RTH Murtala Adamu Matawallen Jangebe recently while receiving the officials of NUZAMSS ABU Zaria Chapter in his office.

The Matawallen Jangebe express happiness with the in-depth investigation carried out by the association to find the level of government commitments to revitalize the education sector in the state, especially the primary education. Mallam Murtala Adamu said despite the enormous challenges they have come across when they assumed the leadership of the board in 2011.
But With the support and priority accorded to Grassroots Education in the state by the Governor Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari we are able to restore and enhance the primary education to a certain level of competing with other sister states in the federation.

According to the Chairman, Zamfara State teachers training center is the only structure in the federation, fully equipped with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for the purpose of training and retraining of teacher's.

Honourable Murtala Adamu Jangebe assured the officials of NUZAMSS, the Board redness to partner with them in the areas of educational development at all levels.
Earlier speaking the NUZAMSS President comrade Jamilu Samaila, thanks the Chairman for giving them the opportunity to interact with him on the issues that affect grassroots Education in the state. Comrade Jamilu also commend the state government for introducing new teaching techniques and programs that aid our pupils to understand the concepts easily, like RANA and JOLLYPHONICS.

The president said he is happy with the way our primary school pupils can read, write and even participate in both local, National and international debates and quiz competitions.
NUZAMSS ABU Zaria chapter finally round up the advocacy visit with the award winner presentation of ZAMSSA servant of humanity to the executive chairman, Honorable Murtala Adamu (Matawallen Jangebe).
In attendance at the advocacy visit were, the Director quality assurance, Alhaji Aminu Musa Kanoma, Malam Muhammad Bello from college of Agriculture Zaria and the social media officer, Khalifa Ja'afar. Others include comrade Jamilu Sama'ila, Mubarak Garba, Maryam Abubakar and host of others.
