WE ARE OF PATRIOTIC STAND AND THUGGERY WAS, IS AND WILL NEVER BE AN OPTION BY THE ENLGHTENED ZAMFARA TEAMING YOUTHS

I am delighted for once with the utterances chosen by the state governor Abdulaziz Yari while responding to the staged protest by some youths under the banner of NYAN organized by Manir Hiaidara Kaura only that, the term thuggery am not comfortable with. All the way down the respond Yari was clear with his utterances but he misses the point when he combined it with thuggery.

The banner with which the protest was stages has no record of thugggery in the whole of Nigeria and the leadership of NYAN is a well harnessed one and am very certain that and aware the protest went well as enshrined by the acts of police and Nigerian constitution.

Let us be clear with the responses and analyze the stand took by the governor while responding. I don’t believe the youths are been sponsored by political rivalries of Yaris administration. The decision was purely to seek for justice and advocate for good governance.

It is also for the governor to know that, it’s a thing to be said to the public that he upgrade 6 PHCS to full pledge general hospitals in hall of 6 years where Zamfara is a state with a population of more than 3.5 million people, much more is expected.

And if that’s the only thing he can achieve for the health sector in 6 years then definitely, the protest is in good lime. By the way we have seen pictures of patient under trees receiving treatment and short or even diversion of vaccines and other drugs is on the rise in the state. What will the governor have to say about this? Honestly more needs to be done. Yari should as well be mindful of the people he trust with some of the affairs regarding pledge to constructions and renovation of many of his projects.

I wish you all the best in trying to not let any stone unturned In the health sector but for now many stones are yet to be turned your excellency. Am telling you this to be able to let you grab the whole picture so as to not be mislead by those who compile reports for you. We all have nothing against you.

Secondly with regard to unemployment, its high time you come in and address the issues as its one of the major plights that’s affecting your administration, now that you said many are on the verge of receiving double salaries if we are to agree with you, you need to publish those names and made it clear to your state people of what’s really cooking on the ground and it has takes far much time for your committee to arrive to its maiden report which for now is taken them more than 3 years to compile.

Many other things may be involved but with all sincerity of purpose, you need to step up on that. Am taking my time to respond to this so as to make sure you heard a response from a concerned youth in the state and be not once again mislead by those you trust on the helm of affairs.

It is not possible for all the few 1400 selected people among many to be on the payroll of government, you should be able to question the integrity of that report. You can equally removed them and engage them where its better or leave them where they are but definitely a lot needs to hang on somewhere as government workers and the earlier the better.

With regards to agro business you were referring to youth empowerment not youth employment your excellency, so also with regard to street cleaners you were referring to employment of uneducated youths in the state but those who deserve or require great employment with the state are left behind who can control both youth empowerment and uneducated youth employment in your state.

We detest violence and will no in way be part of it. We detest the act of political fathers mismanagement but harbor and believe in power of peaceful protest along peaceful coexistence in the state.

For the many other times, your manner with which you respond to this is appreciated and it shows the government is not arrogant but looking for a peaceful way to harmonise peaceful coexistence in the state. But honestly more needs to be done both in unemployment, youth empowerment, education, health and other more pressing sectors.

I want you to live a legacy not a name of I rule for 8 years.

I remain my humble self
