Those political class who are accusing our National Chairman of the NCC on the issue of micro zoning and its subsequent agreement as agreed to other regions are ignorant of ways to ensure political unity and cohesion among all party members, especially going by the unanimous decision by all the stakeholders in North West. The issue of micro zoning is part of the arrangement in the PDP long time before now so as to reduces tension, ensure working possibility of the stakeholders guide, encourage aspirants and supporters to bring discipline, fairness and equal opportunity to all in as much it will reduce tension and bickering among all contestants before the election.
PDP was in agreement with zoning, consensus and election as yardstick to ensure equity, fairness, unity, discipline and cohesion among all party supporters without fear or favour.
Majority of the noise about its negatives are the creation of certain group of people, especially coming from Kaduna who hitherto benefitted much from such system or arrangements time immemorial whereas, they were given opportunity to serve the party diligently, but now become burden to the people of Kaduna State through their tenure of not delivering what is right for their people.
Some of them are now more like liability and political burden to the survival of genuine democratic process and success of our great party in Nigeria.
One of them who was given much opportunity to be in the corridor of the party leadership for long at Wadata Plaza, but woefully failed to consolidate, instead he is openly sponsoring and syndicating stories on some newspapers and social media platforms for selfishness in order to incite innocent party supporters across the north of hatred against our committed National Chairman before the convention.
HE Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi as a leader did not enforce or coerced anybody to accept or change issue to endorsed micro-zoning against any particular individual or group of political interest at the meeting of the North-west Caucus of our party which was held at the Bafarawa's residence, Abuja recently.
The meeting was attended by many of the leaders from the N/W include HE vice president Namadi Sambo, some former governors, former ministers and many of the PDP leaders, members of the BoT and Caucus from the north west, therefore, you can not expect one person to misled or enforce his views above the majority.
However, any attempts to destabilize or create confusion by the so called new entrants to the negative ideals of political revolution in the region, will be decisively dealt with.
PDP belongs to all of us, we will never allow another creation of Modu Sheriff to wreck havoc and confuse our great journey as set up by the National Caretaker Committee of our great party, under the able leadership of our hardworking Chairman, amiable and great man Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, CON.
His commitment, fairness and equal rights to all, since after the landmark judgment of the Supreme Court was a legendary and greatest of ensuring the survival of our party affairs to highest standards.
PDP remains the only option and political direction of returning our country and people on the right track.
May Almighty God continue to guide, protect and bless our leader, Sen Makarfi, his team at Wadata Plaza and all those who genuinely fight and yearn for change the change in Nigeria.
AMEEN.
